Shadow Lake Basin and the Ritter Range Part Two

In this episode Doug and I spent the night at Garnet Lake and awoke to a stunning sunrise across the lake toward Mt.Ritter and Banner peaks. We continued up the John Muir Trail and passed Ruby and Emerald Lakes on the way to Thousand Island Lake.
Along the way we talked to a group that may have been visited by a bear during the night, hunkered down during a hail storm and talked to a fisherman beside thousand Island Lake.
We experienced the magnificent reflection of the peaks in the lake the next moring before hiking up to the flourescent Clark Lakes and back down the High Trail to Agnew Meadows.

Another great podcast Anthony, great job on this 2 parter, the longer the podcast the better. I liked how you said "you have to work to get to these peaks", that whole quote was right on. I also liked how you had more interviews and especially the sounds of the hail and waterfalls.
Looking forward to the next one! Dave :)
Oh, and the pics on Photobucket are stellar! I am so jealous of that trip, looked incredible.
